On the afternoon of March 19th, 2023, my son, wife, and I set out to hike the beautiful Hängender Stein trail in Königstetten, NÖ, Austria. As we started our journey, we were greeted by the first signs of spring, with the sun shining brightly and the air feeling fresh and crisp.
The trail led us through a stunning landscape of towering trees. We could hear the birds chirping and the rustling of fall leaves in the gentle breeze as we made our way deeper into the forest.
Along the way, we stopped to admire the breathtaking views. We were amazed by the natural beauty of the area, and the peacefulness of the trail made us feel as though we were a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
As we find the Hängender Stein (Hanging stone), we decided to turn back and make our way back to the trailhead. The hike took us about two hours in total, but it felt like no time at all. The stunning scenery, fresh air, and quality time spent with my loved ones made the experience unforgettable.
Hiking the Hängender Stein trail was an incredible way to spend an afternoon, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have shared it with my family. The trail provided us with a chance to escape the stress of everyday life and connect with nature in a way that is truly special. I look forward to returning to this beautiful spot again soon.
